Starlight Charity Ball

Live one night as a star and come be a part of an elegant evening; with superb live entertainment from two fantastic tribute acts, at a incredible Greenwich location, all in aid of a great cause which looks to help thousands of terminally ill children every year.

The night will begin with one included glass of champagne and selection of canapés on your red carpet arrival, where you will be greeted by friendly hosts, music, as well as a venue to be inspired by. The night will continue with a bar offering a selection of well priced drinks and cocktails, while your entertained by the live singers playing within the venue, who include tributes singing the best of Amy Winehouse and Rod Stewart.

There will be the opportunity to enter the stylish Charity Raffle for a small donation, containing a fantastic selection of prizes including a laptop, champagne and a ride in a limousine. There will also be the chance to have a professional photo taken of yourself and your friends, with the stylish and glamorous venue creating the perfect backdrop to show off your 'dress to impress' outfit', making a great memento of the evening. There will be a contemporary DJ finishing the night off in style, with a range of music that is bound to get you on your feet.

The event tickets are being sold for just £10 in advance and £12 on the night, which includes one glass of champagne and selection of canapés, as well as entrance to a star filled evening at the River Bar, which sits just along the River Thames within the Greenwich area, over looking a fantastic view of Canary Wharf.

We have a full evening of great entertainment lined up so you and your friends can have fun in style.

A superb fully choreographed live show playing all the well known tracks from 'Back to Black' and 'Frank', a great selection of soul and ska tracks that Amy plays in her live shows as well as cover songs she has dueted in.

This act is the UK's Number 1 live tribute to the fantastic Amy Winehouse. The recreation of Amy's distinctive vocals is exceptional and as you can see by the photos she has an amazing resemblance to the woman herself.

Greg Dorrell is perhaps the finest Rod Stewart tribute act in the country today. Others may look a little like Rod, some may even have some of the vocal qualities, but none have the same natural ability to sing in that inimitable style.

Greg Dorrell brings an energy that will leave the memory of a fantastic evening with you for weeks and months, maybe even years to come. Added to all this Greg's repertoire is enormous from the Rod Stewart Classics of the late 60's and early 70's such as 'Maggie May', 'You Wear It Well' and 'You're In My Heart' to the highly successful middle years and such wonderful songs as 'Sailing' and 'Hot Legs' and even into the later years of Rod's long and illustrious career with tracks such as 'Downtown Train' and 'Forever Young'.

Adding the wow factor and contemporary glamour to this star filled night is the River Bar, a fantastic new venue within the Greenwich area; it sits directly along the River Thames with superb views of Canary Wharf acting as a sophisticated and glamorous backdrop for this sensational evening.

The River bar is situated off Creek Road and past the Gate Clock heading to Deptford before the bridge crossing. On the night of the event look out for the star signs, these will be located from the Gate Clock pub which is situated within Greenwich town centre, and will guide you the way to the venue.

Starlight Children's Foundation brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by granting their wishes and providing hospital entertainment to help take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation of their illness.

When Starlight began in 1987, we helped just 4 children; this year, we will help over 500,000 children all over the UK. Where possible, mums, dads, brothers and sisters are involved to strengthen family bonds at what is often a time of great stress and give everyone happy memories to share, no matter what the future may hold. Starlight receives neither Government nor Lottery support.

If Starlight had just one wish itself, it would be that cures could be found for all the terrible illnesses that can afflict children. Until then, we will continue to provide important medicines of another sort: excitement, fun and laughter.

This is a great course and all profits raised from the event will be going directly towards the thousands of children helped by the foundation each year.

Tickets are being sold at £10.00 per person if you order before the event and £12.00 on the door, this price includes a curtsy drink and selection of canapés on arrival, as well as granting you access to the star filled event.

Make sure you print your ticket and bring it with you to the event.

You will not be able to enter the venue without a ticket, so don’t forget it! Otherwise you will have to purchase another ticket on the night at the door.

Key Events was established in 2009 as a fresh, new and enthusiastic company seeking to build upon its team’s dedicated vision and knowledge of the industry.
